With operations in three African countries, the holding assumes control of the former Mitrelli Group subsidiaries and announces new investments in the Angolan market.
JETA, a new holding company headquartered in Cyprus and with an established presence in Angola since November 2024, has been officially presented to the public. The presentation was led by CEO Doron Ben-Sira, who outlined the company’s strategic priorities in the Angolan and African context.
The companies YAPAMA, New Cognito and Aliva, previously part of the Mitrelli Group, will now operate under the JETA structure. The three subsidiaries are active respectively in the distribution of medical devices, cybersecurity and ICT infrastructure, and healthcare services (Aliva previously operated under the Luanda Medical Center brand).
JETA announced that it will focus its investments on priority sectors, particularly healthcare and fintech. Projects currently under consideration include the creation of a pharmacy network, the distribution and local production of pharmaceutical products, and the expansion of healthcare services beyond Luanda.
The new holding and Mitrelli share the same reference shareholder, entrepreneur Haim Taib, although they operate as independent structures. In addition to Angola, JETA is present in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal through YAPAMA.
The establishment of the holding represents a corporate reorganisation aimed at consolidating operations across Africa in the areas of healthcare, technology and financial services.
