With more than 40 years of experience leading technology companies across Europe, the United States and Asia, Doron has now embraced a new challenge: transforming key sectors from Angola, with direct impact on people’s lives.

With the energy and enthusiasm of someone who truly believes in the power of purpose-driven innovation, Doron Ben Sira shares:

It is with this conviction that he now leads JETA Africa Holding.

The CEO does not begin with ready-made answers, nor with the pretension of knowing everything. On the contrary, he listens before acting, values what he finds on the ground and builds from there. He speaks of his team with pride and believes that JETA Holding’s greatest asset lies in its people, more than in capital or technology.

“African talent is not promising — it is present. Our job is to open doors, create space and trust.”

A Journey of Building

Throughout his career, Doron has led companies in the technology, telecommunications and software development sectors, managing teams ranging from 50 to 500 people — always with one focus: creating environments where people can grow.

“Working in Africa forces us to step out of autopilot. We must be creative, flexible and, above all, humble.”

He chose Angola as the starting point.
“It was here that we felt we could begin with depth — understand the terrain, learn from the context and truly become part of it.”

At JETA Holding, healthcare, financial inclusion and technology are part of one integrated vision. For the CEO, innovation means creating meaningful connections: between the care a mother receives in a clinic, the possibility of making a secure mobile payment, or empowering someone with new digital skills.

“I like to think that we are building bridges. Between generations. Between worlds. Between what exists and what can become.”

Leading with Purpose

He is not fond of the spotlight. He prefers behind-the-scenes work, united teams and honest conversations. When he speaks about leadership, he speaks of presence, consistency and trust.

“People follow those who are there — not only when things go well, but also in moments of silence, failure and doubt.”

He believes in purpose-driven action, values-based execution and responsible growth. And although JETA Holding’s plans include expansion into several African countries in the coming years, what excites him most is something else:

“If, five years from now, a young person tells me they started with us, learned, took risks and today lead a team — that is worth more than any business metric.”

Doron Ben Sira speaks little about himself, but says a great deal when speaking about others. He does not wish to be remembered for having built a company, but for helping to build capability, dignity and confidence.

“What matters to me is not leaving my own mark, but helping others leave theirs,” he concludes.
